Greetings fellow forum denizens of Y E O H :: U S. As everybody here knows, we are a growing community (and growing faster than I can cope with!) that consist of many people, with a wide variety of personalities, taste, educational background, religion, race, blah, blah, blah... and you get the idea!

So, therefore, after much consideration, I have started this topic for everyone to post their introductions to the other forum members. This topic is strictly for introductions only and will be enforced with great vigor. If you wish to post a reply, please start another topic!

All new members must introduce yourself here and current members are encouraged to do so as well. So come on, write a short paragraph about yourself and something that might or might not interest the other members.

Came from Penang, Malaysia and for those who knows, studied in Penang Free School (PFS) with a bunch of others here, namely PY222, Efini, MU4Ever, Alex, Haven (my brother), Intruder II, Maverick, Chet, epipanic - at the point of this post la.

Well, nowadays, I hang out at Apt#19 on weekends ... weekdays, well, I try to work or at least pretend that I work as a programmer. Oh yea, Apt19 is near San Jose State University and I work a little bit north, near the San Francisco Airport (California, USA).

Hrm, on the weekends, my first goal is to feed myself into a meatball (fine, I am just kidding). So, it's either we cook or we pig ourselves out at a few restaurants which we've come to affectionately call them Godzilla. Sunday is often reserved for dim sum.

What else, hrmm, well, apart from eating, I join my buddies in doing some exercise, sometimes going to the gym Shocked

Other times, I go running around either trying to save the world or perhaps, blow up some sites LOL. Well, u say running around is easy task? Try running and jumping carrying a FN M249 Para Twisted Evil

Allrite allrite, I know it's only a computer game (Counterstrike) ... and I am sure BabyT and Musicmel know this nemesis pretty well.

My name is Nan Fen (note all: not Fern), grew up in Penang, Malaysia, just like most people here. Went to high school in Union (which I used to spell it as "Onion" when I was in primary school). Embarassed

Met a bunch of the kakis here when I went to KDU after high school, what a great time that was! Thumbs Up

Now I live and work in New York City. I like this city - rowdy, rude, noisy, happening, too hot, too cold, too many gays Shocked

- but still, at the end of the day, I still love it although it's nothing compare to my Pulau Pinang. I work in a software games company, if you have heard of Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, Max Payne, etc....and if you love those games, you better make friends with me because I work for the company that make all these games. Lately we just bought the studio that made CS. But of course I have the most un-happening job in the company - finance....zzzzzz.......

I love to eat!!! My favorite thing to do, love to pig out with my friends, but of course I force myself to go workout if I eat too damn much.....

Well, I am PY 222, the online alter-ego of Patrick Yeoh, owner and operator of this little corner of cyberspace.

Like most people here, I was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. I am also an Old Frees although I have not paid my registration dues for sometime now.

Currently residing in San Jose, California (south of San Francisco!) while doing my degree at San Jose State University, majoring in MIS.

Part-timing away, I am currently working my a$$ off for a non-profit organization named The Collaborative for Disaster Mitigation. As I am the most tech-savvy person in the Organization of 6 staff, I have become the de-facto tech person, involved in networking, system administration and the webmaster for all the Organization's webpages!

During my free time, I will go out with my darling, BabyT, to watch a movie, get some chow and sometimes, shot some Terrorist while saving the world. And yes, I love to eat, and that is the reason why I have BIG BONES Wink

Also, I love to build websites and read up on web technology. Hence this site was created as a testbed for all my wacky experiments in web development. This entire site is currently running on HTML, SSI, PHP, JavaScript and CGI while running from a MySQL database.

hiya guys and gals...my name is Leng Chong, or Christopher as I am known at my workplace... 8)

i too am from Penang Free School and former school mate and college mate of Sir PY222 here, and errr come to think of it, i think i still am in Free School as i have not taken my School Leaving Cert yet...hehe

i am currently working in HP (formerly known as Hewlett Packard) in Singapore....whereas my job title is suppose to be a Systems Engineer here, i'm still trying to figure out what it is that i really do here in this company...supposedly in charge of the Call Logging system HP uses or sumthing, but oh well, as long as i get paid right?

what i'm really into is more to computer hardware...tell me anything about PC stuffs, and you've got my attention...my dream in the future is to be able to setup a small company providing PC hardware setup which includes modding of any kind and other stuff (case modding, water cooling setups, overclocking consultation, etc.)....

as some of you might notice in my signature here in this forum that i myself am trying to build a dream PC...but due to financial restrictions, i've been a little behind nowadays...

you guys will notice there's another forum member here called MusicMel....well she's my "low porh" aka dahling, so as a pre-warning to you guys out there, hands off!! hehehe Mr. Green

my name is sook may.. or better known as sooky aka big bird (i prefer sooky though). if many of you remember me.. i am the tall girl from MGS... sama gang with huilian, bjin, and chieh. i love to laugh.. i can't live a day without a computer and food is the highlight of my day... EVERYDAY.

I work with my former college at the Academic Computing. Currently only a systems tech. hopefully promotion will come soon so i can do more damage. i love my job cause it's fun and the people i work with are avid gamblers, part time pit crew for nascar races, closet drunks and not to mention geeks.

i now live in New Jersey... although it's a dead town .. i still love it more than NY city. i got two birds that annoys the shit out of me. a honda civic that keeps getting stains on the seats thanks to some people.

i work and study in the weekdays (Master program rocks! hehe less exams). on the weekends i cuddle up with my baby, john.. and of course clean my freakin bird cage and apartment. hehe! that's it!

hullo i'm also from penang... union high school, same year as nfen etc. used to live near macalister road but then pua to relau already... which is good cos it's closer to my baby's house. currently lepaking in nyc... was working for an aids research center til end of 2002. now waiting for my stupid new employer to complete my visa application so i can start work n finally eat properly... #$%&* and btw, biochem sucks.

the name is Soon...Wilson Soon. Left malaysia for rainy England right after SPM. Oxford was my first stop and then it lead to me getting my BSc at the London School Of Economics. it wasnt plain sailing there i assure you but nevertheless it stand me in good stead.

currently employed with Citibank (the most stress Free job in the world) and am given ultimate freedom in doing my job. Will be back to snowy London again this month for another 3 years. trying to be an accountant there. boring...but what the heck.
